• Victor’s P.O.V:
• I looked up from my phone, temporarily halting my chat with Kendra to watch Daniel pace back and forth in the room like a caged tiger trying to find its way out. Anyone else doing the same actions would have simply classified as pacing, but Daniel was a big man. He seemed to suck all the space out of the room.
• He’s been doing that ever since we’d all gotten dressed and the guests had started arriving. Even though he didn’t say anything, worry and nervousness were painted across his face in bold letters.
