Chapter 364 A Surprise

• I made it to the front page of every single newspaper. The entire kingdom must be talking about me and how I snuck off with another man. There was a comment section at the bottom of one of the papers where people rubbed my name in mud. All the papers talked about how I threw the palace into turmoil with my philandering ways and one of the papers went as far as suggesting I was not fit to be queen and that Scarlett was a better choice. There was even a comment from an unnamed palace worker that detailed how the entire palace went in search of me and the ‘terror and horror that gripped the innocent workers in the face of the Alpha King’s wrath.’ Interestingly, people were even waiting for my punishment for adultery.
• “This is terrible!” Sabrina who was reading over my shoulder exclaimed. “How can they write such horrible things about you, Miss?” She boiled with righteous indignation. “If only they knew what happened –“
• “His Majesty will take care of everything so there’s no need to get worked up,” Ella cut into Sabrina’s rant. “As for the worker that went to tell tall tales about Her Majesty, they only have themselves to blame for whatever punishment His Majesty metes out.”
