• “You know…when we first arrived, I swear she was trying to seduce me… Every time I saw her, she was blatantly flirting. She seems like an opportunist who uses feminine wiles to seduce men and extract what she wants from them.” Tian quickly summarized that Ling was not to be trusted.
• “She lives with the same type…so I wouldn’t put it past her. After all, water finds its own level.” There was underlying venom from Kai, and he shoved the changing room door aggressively, making Tian drop the subject. After all these years, it was still the one topic that brought up Kai’s worst side.
• “You any closer to figuring out what you’ll do with that problem?” Tian had been trying to leave Kai to it these past few days, knowing he was brewing a bad mood and the girl's absence in the company had delayed things. He had no doubt tomorrow morning that girl would resign… he had a good sense of people, and her swift departure was telling. He wasn't looking forward to the showdown when Kai prevented her from actually doing it, though.
