• “Good morning. We would like to take the patients for the tests now,” the nurse's loud piercing voice disrupted the silence in the room, and Xander immediately withdrew from Nadia's body, as he turned to flash a modest smile at the nurse.
• “I was scared for a second that she was not breathing. Seems like she was just sleeping peacefully after all,” his warm smile compelled the nurse to smile also, and to convince her of his weird action that her eyes caught, as she moved closer to check Nadia's vitals and adjust the IV connected to her hand.
• “Do not worry, Mr. Kirk. She will be fine,” she turned to Xander, who had carefully taken his seat, “I am going to take her for a CT scan and some blood tests to see how she is doing, so the doctor can confirm if there are some complications that the first tests did not catch,” she explained further to him.
