- Once Helen was out of Adam’s room, he took a seat beside his son on the bed. “When did something get into Helen’s eyes?” He asked, looking at his little boy intently.
- “I think when you were talking to her, because She started crying after you left. I was almost mad at you because I thought you made her cry. But Helen said you did nothing wrong.”
- Adam sighed internally.
