• How did I find out that she's a Mafia? I just happened to find out the girl whom she loved before – Carmine Crea. I knew Carmine Crea, she's Nicholas's ex-girlfriend. Her family owns the largest pharmaceutical company here in the country. I hired a private investigator before and I found out everything happened. It was also an arranged marriage between Nicholas and Carmine. Carmine called off the wedding and ran away somewhere, where Nicholas and his family won't find her. It's a secret to everyone and only known within Nicholas' family. I guess Khali didn't know about it as well. Now, I'm suffering the same fate as Carmine. My private investigator told me some information about Carmine. That Carmine was in a relationship with a daughter of a Casino owner who happened to be a Mafia member. I was hoping to know the things that Carmine did to escape from Nicholas, hoping I can avoid this fixed marriage that my dad is so obsessed with.
• When I met Khali, that's when everything started to make sense. She's the daughter of the owner of L Hotels and Casino, and Jey told me that something happened to Khali which made her the person she is today. There were still gray areas at that time but when I found out that Khali knew Nicholas and told me that Nicholas stole her girl, that’s the time I knew that the puzzle has been completed. Upon realizing that, I gathered all of my courage to ask her that question. Running away from the problem is not a solution. To solve it, I need to remove the problem. I need to get rid of Nicholas. It was hard at first – taking the first step. It’s ridiculous to ask someone if she had already killed someone, it’s like you’re asking a murderer to confess for her crime. I was thankful that fate is on my side and I was able to convince her to do the bet. I was freaking out inside but I need to calm myself down. This is my only ticket to get rid of Nicholas.
