• Dinner with Lila was ridiculous and a complete disaster. I hope Mr. Craig is not as strange as her. Maybe this is hell and not heaven after all. She just made me uneasy. She seemed preoccupied with something else. Maybe I am worrying too much. It just feels strange to me, and the vampire she spoke with at the restaurant was also very strange. He seemed to be looking at me funny. She thought I did not notice, but I did. Something about all of that did not sit right with me. I will not make the mistake of questioning her again. Next time, I will observe but not question her.
• I get to meet Mr. Craig tonight at least there is that for this horrible day. I will freshen up before he gets here and maybe change clothes. I am not sure what I should wear, say, look like, or how to be. I could just try calming down a little and be myself. I am sure everything will be fine. I am just not sure about Lila. The best thing for me to do is keep my mouth shut and listen.
