• Angela POV
• I rush into the room to comfort Tia. I have no idea if she will allow me to console her. I touch her back as she lays across her sister crying. The horrific pain she must be in is unimaginable. I do not know how I would feel if this was Deanne. What if we are too late to save Deanne?
• Tia looks back at me. Her oval deep-set blue eyes are drenched in her tears. She reaches for me. I take her into my arms and hold her. Her knees buckle as she mourns her twin hybrid sister. “I failed her! This is all my fault! How will I live without my sister!” Tia screams.
