• I watch the underground auctions for almost an hour. Nothing. Not a peep of the hybrids. I have no idea what to do unless, DAMN! Joel Lee sold the hybrids to the vampire authority. It is the only explanation. He will want to get rid of them fast and make a quick buck. I have a few contacts at the vampire authority. I can reach out to them, but bidding in a hight profile auction for that many hybrids could be a problem for me and our cause. I have no choice. 
• Tia comes down the stairs to join me in the kitchen at the laptop. I can tell she has been crying. I know how she feels. The same way I felt when my sister... I cannot think about that. Tia touches my shoulder. I need to comfort her, not her comfort me. I know how much she loves Emma. The two deserve so much happiness and not this. I can only imagine what Joel Lee will do to Emma. That sick depraved bastard.
