Chapter 51 Connecting With The Beyond

• In his arms, Xander lifted me into the car. I tried to assure him I was fine. I could walk, but he wouldn't listen to me. The bodyguards open the car door for us, but Xander still won't let me go. Still being held by him, he scoots into the back seat with me on his lap. I tried to sit next to him, but he was having none of it.
