• Nate was the last person I wanted to think about yet I found myself thinking about him more than anything. Part of me wanted to not believe everything I have just heard even when it was staring me right in the face.
• “You are awake.” I heard Maya say as I stepped out of the room into a clearing. I looked around the environment with rows of houses surrounded by mountains. It is true what they say about Maya’s pack. It was a stronghold that appeared ordinary in the outside but one would never know what lay ahead.
• “I need to get out of here. I cannot let Nate find me.”
