• What is that?” she asked, as she stared at me with those cute puppy eyes of hers. I was so lost in her eyes that I forgot about what I wanted to do. I just continued staring at her.
• She knew that it wasn’t the right thing to do, but she snapped her fingers in front of me. It was at that moment that I got myself. I leaned in and kissed her on her pouty lips, but I pulled away almost immediately. She smiled at me. She didn’t want this moment to end, but she knew that she had to. She was curious to know what I wanted to tell her.
• “You wanted to tell me something, your Alpha “ she said softly. I began to regret why I had said such a thing in the first place. I shouldn’t have told her that I had something to tell her, so that she won’t start thinking about it. I had wanted to tell her that her uncle was dead, and about the cause of his death, but I couldn’t. All the courage that I had gathered just disappeared with the wind.
