• Once I was done with addressing the people, I stood up and left the courtroom, with Andrew trailing behind me.
• Of course, Elsa was with me. We were holding hands. I had not seen any more reason to make the pain longer by indulging the elders’ continuous questions. I knew that the list would only keep getting stronger.
• I had a plan. My best bet was to make sure that I take time away to get better then we will see about the usurper. The only condition I had was that James let me stay in the pack house and that he will not disturb me or my people for any reason.
