• "How do you do, Irene?” I asked in the softest voice that I could muster. We are currently standing in the backyard of the mansion. I specifically chose that place because it was my favorite spot in the estate. Whenever I didn’t have anything to do, I would always come here and rest for a while. I usually go there most times because that was the only place where I could lament the fact that I was mateless. Not everyone knew that I always come here, except the Alpha.
• Irene had her head lowered to the ground. She was shy and at the same time she was happy that I was talking to her.
• “I am fine, My Lord,” She replied. It was shocking to her that I didn’t stutter, despite how nervous she was. I had expected that she would stutter when replying to my questions, but to my astonishment, she didn’t.
