Chapter 64

  • Jaxon’s POV
  • The morning sunlight took no permission before penetrating through the curtains, and descending gracefully on Liora’s sleeping form, giving her elegant body a magic glow. I was too focused on Liora, but still I could hear distant noises, it was the pack at it again; waking up, but lazily arising to their daily duties. But right here in the dimly lighted chamber, it was a different case, as we had no plans of waking up, at least not yet.
  • Last night has no word for its description, it was beyond magical. One moment, I felt like I was dreaming, another moment, I had to accept my reality. Liora was truly mine, I have won the fight, though the main fight is yet to come, but this is the key to getting everything. During the time I sent gifts for her, right to the first day she set her feet back to the pack from the Night Howlers, I had kept myself occupied, occasionally thinking about the night to come, my sacred night with Liora. I knew that she would become mine somehow, I knew the moon goddess would give me a second chance to right my wrongs, but I never imagined it to come in this form.
