Chapter 52 Revenge Court

- It's as silent a night as no other. Everyone was just in their respective states of grieving. The usually rustling wood shows some form of mourning too, eerily still for comfort. Me, I'd sit on this cabin porch with my gaze locked across, that shadow of trees formed at the leading edge of Wrenwood forest. I can see quite brightly the flowers over freshly turned earth, where several hours before we laid Rose.
- My pack had gathered around her grave, their silent tears falling while covering her with soil. Nothing was said that could comfort us or promises spoken that could wipe out this ache in our hearts.
