Chapter 25 The Bunker

• "GET TO SAFETY!!!"
• A random student yelled as we were walking to my locker, gathering the books we’d need for our first few classes, when the alarms suddenly blared throughout the entire pack. The shrill sound cut through the hallway like a jagged knife, and I felt a chill rush down my spine. The pack was under attack.
• I didn’t think. I just reacted. My books hit the floor with a thud as I spun around, my heart racing, the blood pounding in my ears. People were running in every direction, faces filled with panic. Some screamed, some cried, but I didn’t know where to go. I was rooted to the spot, frozen, trying to make sense of the chaos around me.
