• Stunned, and thrown unbalanced by Imelda’s sudden question, Alpha Kyle swallowed hard. It dawned on him that he had no answer. Words refused to come out of his mouth. He couldn’t even deny the fact that he might be actually having feelings for me.
• “She is my enemy’s daughter. What makes you think that I will fall in love with her?” He managed to speak, but his voice sold him off.
• Imelda scoffed in disbelief. She was shaking in fury. The thought that Kyle couldn’t even deny it made her so annoyed. After all her sacrifices to become his fated mate, yet he can’t even like her talk more of loving her. “Kyle, you and I know that what you just said is not true. You can’t even deny the fact that you are beginning to have a soft spot for her. Kyle, have you forgotten what we’ve been through?”
