Chapter 23

• Early that morning, I woke up, fully recovered. My wounds were all healed, and I could walk without any aid. The only thing that wasn’t healed was my poor heart.
• I woke up early, took my bath and dressed up in the slave sack dress that I was given the day before. Today, I’ll be starting my duties as a slave fully. I’ll do the laundry, carry water from the well to the lane where another castle is getting built… A lot of work. I would only be allowed to rest for 30 minutes before I resume my work.
• At exactly 11pm, when I retire from work, I’ll go straight to the Alpha’s chambers to warm his bed. Whenever he is done with me, I’ll retire to bed to wake up at 5am.
