• Today, I completely wrecked the wedding. Not only did I crush Mark’s pride, but I also beat him so badly that he was left broken and humiliated from every angle. I practically tore him apart.
• But I wasn’t about to let my guard down. I know Mark—this ruthless, power-hungry bastard—is capable of anything. Even though I have the muscle to back me up and don’t fear his threats, I still need to watch out for any last-ditch move he might make to hurt Lucia.
