Chapter 7 Meeting Of Forces, A Very Tender Desire

  • Sylvia looked at the beautiful dress that had arrived at her house that day. It was truly lovely, ivory white in color. She examined it carefully and said to herself:
  • "If you were to get married the next day, everything would be real. She would unite her life with this stranger. But was this step of marriage really necessary?
  • He was in his study, meeting with other partners, but she needed to clarify certain matters with Hafid urgently.
  • So she made her way to the study and knocked firmly on the door. From the other side, she heard his rough voice responding:
  • "I hope it's urgent because I'm quite busy. Whoever it is, come in!"
  • Hafid said.
  • She opened the door and with great confidence, she stuck her red head out, saying:
  • "I apologize for the interruption, Hafid, but I need to discuss some matters with you," Sylvia said.
  • "Gentlemen, please wait a moment. My dear little wife requires me," Hafid said sarcastically.
  • They went outside and he took her by the arm at the elbow and practically pushed her into the room.
  • "Hey, what's wrong with you? You're hurting me!" Sylvia complained. "Don't be rough!"
  • "Let it be the last time you interrupt me during a meeting, little woman!" Hafid shouted.
  • "Let go of me!" Sylvia shouted. "You brute!" She slapped him, and he caught her hand in mid-air and forcefully pulled her towards him.
  • "Let go of me, Hafid!" she screamed.
  • "Don't you ever raise your hand at me again!" he exclaimed.
  • "And you, don't you ever treat me like an animal," Sylvia said furiously. "It's best to go back to my life before. I can't accept any deal with you."
  • "That's how you can't?" demanding Hafid asked, looking at her with dangerous eyes. "I remind you that you already signed a deal with me."
  • "You don't know how to treat a woman!" Sylvia said. "Let's end any deal. I no longer want to be here with you."
  • Sylvia tried to leave, and Hafid pulled her back by the arm and said:
  • "You're not moving from here. You're not going out!" Hafid shouted. "You're the mother of my children and you'll be my wife tomorrow. Do you understand?"
  • "I won't do anything you tell me. I'm not your slave. I'm just an employee and I have the right to resign!" Silvia said.
  • "Consider yourself kidnapped, Silvia Smith!" Hafid said with a sharp voice like a sword. "You won't leave here for anything in the world. You signed the contract and tomorrow you'll be my wife."
  • "I no longer want to be your wife!" Silvia said. "I'll just be the nanny for your children."
  • "Don't play with me, young lady!" Hafid said. "My patience has a limit."
  • His voice sounded dangerous, but Sylvia wasn't afraid of him. On the contrary, she felt agitated when he provoked her.
  • "And mine too!" exclaimed Sylvia. "If you continue treating me like an animal, I swear I will tell your children that I am not their mother, that you are a liar!
  • "Don't you dare threaten me with that," shouted Hafid. "You are pushing your luck."
  • "You already pushed yours, Hafid Aziz!" shouted Sylvia. "I am not to blame for your hatred towards women. Leave me alone!"
  • Sylvia once again tried to leave, but this time Hafid grabbed her by the waist and held her in a wild embrace, kissing her unexpectedly.
  • Sylvia froze for a moment, but then she bit his lips and he let go, exclaiming, "Have you gone crazy? You broke my lips and made me bleed!"
  • "Don't ever kiss me again!" Sylvia shouted with a fiery face and eyes.
  • "You're a feisty girl, a real wildcat!" Hafid said. "I like that, it stimulates my desires as a man!"
  • Upon hearing the dangerous tone in Hafid's voice, Sylvia stepped back and said, "I refuse to marry you!" Her voice sounded defiant.
  • "It's better for you to stay calm and resign yourself to your fate," Hafid said calmly but threateningly. "Tomorrow, you will not only be my wife, but also my woman."
  • Sylvia stood tall and her blue eyes sparkled with fury. "That's not what you told me when you hired me," Sylvia said. "I heard very well when you said you wouldn't touch me, that you had real women to please you!"
  • Hafid smirked and said, "I changed my mind. Now I want to see how wild you are in bed, Silvia Smith!"
  • "You're a bastard!" Sylvia shouted, beside herself. "A damn bastard!"
  • "I know, I know who I am," Hafid said. "That's why you won't escape from me, rebellious girl."
  • Hafid stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him, and locked himself in the study with the gentlemen who were his partners.
  • He left Sylvia filled with anxiety, wondering when she had become this man's enemy. He was just a bitter, ill-tempered man. She didn't want to be his woman, she detested him with all her soul, and she certainly didn't want to sleep with him. She didn't love him, he only inspired contempt in her.
  • Tears streamed down her cheeks, burning her face. She would rather starve, sleep on the streets than be Hafid Aziz's woman.
  • Suddenly, she felt gentle knocks on the door. She went out and opened it, finding Farid and Amira, her two little angels, looking at her with eyes full of anguish.
  • "Hello! What do you need?" Sylvia asked tenderly.
  • "Mama, were you fighting with Papa?" Amira asked.
  • "No, my love!" Sylvia said. "Who told you we were fighting?"
  • They looked at her with intelligent eyes.
  • "Mummy, Farid and I know that you were always traveling to avoid fighting with my dad," Amira said.
  • This time it was Farid who had been silent.
  • - "Yes, you were traveling to avoid fighting with dad, he's always angry, and with a serious face!" said Farid. "We heard the shouting, mom."
  • - Sylvia crouched down to their level and said, "Listen well, my beautiful treasures. Your dad and I may have differences, but I won't leave anymore," Sylvia's voice broke a little. "I'll always be with you, I promise."
  • - They hugged her tightly.
  • - "It's okay, mommy, but Farid and I decided," said Amira, "that if you want to leave again, we'll go with you!"
  • - "Oh, my beautiful princess!" exclaimed Sylvia, "and my handsome prince, you are so sweet and supportive of mommy, but your dad loves you very much, just like I do, and he and I will always be together, I promise."
  • - "We don't want you to fight with dad," said Amira, "don't leave again, mommy!"
  • - "Amira, mommy already promised she won't leave, and I believe her," said Farid, "she won't leave anymore, right mommy?"
  • - "That's right, my loves. Mommy came to stay with you and be together as a family of four forever," said Sylvia.
  • - "Mommy! Could you bring a little brother or sister for us?" asked Amira excitedly.
