Chapter 4 Sylvia Meets Her Children

  • Hafid Aziz laughed heartily upon hearing Sylvia and then said cruelly,
  • "Who do you think you are, little girl? Haven't you seen yourself in a mirror?" His voice was bitter and cruel. "I have real women at my feet, you are just a poor girl fresh out of school!"
  • "And if you have so many women, why don't you find a mother for your children among those beauties?" Sylvia said with a bitter voice.
  • "Because they are there to please me," said Hafid. "I doubt you even know how to give a kiss."
  • "She's right, I don't even know how to give a kiss," said Sylvia. "So I guess I'll never have to learn from a bitter person like you."
  • "Not even in my worst nightmares would I kiss you, little girl!" said Hafid.
  • "Nor would I kiss you!" she exclaimed. "You'll have to settle for having this girl as the mother of your children."
  • "That's the only reason you were hired, to be the mother of my children," said Hafid Aziz.
  • "And where are your children?" Sylvia asked.
  • "You'll meet them at home," said Hafid. "Come, follow me."
  • She stood up and followed him. This man was used to giving orders and being obeyed. Sylvia realized that despite being the mother of Hafid's children, she was just an employee.
  • She got into the super luxurious car. She had never been in a car like this before. He sat down and immediately opened a laptop, not even glancing at her.
  • They arrived at a place like an airport where they boarded a plane and from there, went to Hafid Aziz's house. Sylvia was amazed when she saw the place where this man lived. It looked like a palace.
  • Upon entering, she was even more surprised by the luxury in every decoration of the place. She was taken to a room where Hafid spoke to his three-year-old babies in a strange language and said to them,
  • "Amira, Farid, this is Sylvia, your mother."
  • The children looked at their father confused, and he said to them,
  • "Greet your mother!"
  • They approached her shyly, and first the girl said,
  • "Hello, Mom! I missed you!"
  • "Me too, my love!" said Sylvia.
  • "I missed you too, mommy!" said Farid.
  • Sylvia hugged them, and tears of emotion ran down her cheeks. She felt moved by the affection these two beautiful angels showed her, whom she fell in love with at first sight.
  • "Why are you crying, Mom?" Amira asked. "Are you sad?"
  • "No, my girl, I'm just crying because I'm so happy to see you!" said Sylvia.
  • Hafid looked at the scene, and a strange sparkle appeared in his eyes for a few seconds. He liked how this girl interacted with his children.
  • "Do you want to go out and celebrate with Mom?" Hafid asked.
  • - "Yes!" exclaimed the children.
  • - "Let's go then, join us Sylvia!" we'll celebrate that you have finally arrived from your trip and you won't go anywhere else.
  • - "Yes, mom, promise you won't leave us alone again!" said Farid.
  • - "I promise!" said Sylvia, confused by what he presented before her eyes.
  • These children truly believed that she was their mother, and that she had been on a trip. Where was the real mother of these beautiful children?
  • This was something that this man would have to explain. She couldn't live in uncertainty in the face of any question these children asked her.
  • They went out to eat and Hafid asked, "What do you want to eat?"
  • "Pizza!" the children said in unison.
  • "For this time that we're celebrating, we'll eat pizza, right, mom?" Hafid asked.
  • "Yes, it's not good for a child to consume so much flour," Sylvia said.
  • Hafid felt pleased with the choice made for his children. Apparently, Sylvia was going to be the perfect mother for them.
  • They ate, and after that, the two children fell asleep on Sylvia's lap. When they arrived home, she lifted the girl, and Hafid carried the boy and settled them in their rooms.
  • It was past ten o'clock at night. They only took off their shoes so as not to disturb them too much. After that, Sylvia said, "Now explain why your children believe that I am a mother who preferred to travel instead of staying to take care of them."
  • Hafid looked at her with a hint of irony in his gaze. Sylvia waited and then, seeing that he didn't respond, she said, "Sir, I won't accept this job unless you give me all the gold in the world, or speak clearly, or there's no deal."
  • "My children are three years old in two months. Their mother died a year ago, and they don't remember her much," Hafid said. "To avoid giving them bad news, I told them that their mom was working and traveling, and that she would soon come back home."
  • "And what would have happened if I hadn't found someone willing to accept this job?" Sylvia asked.
  • "I would have come up with something," Hafid said. "By the way, excellent performance as a mother, you passed the test, girl."
  • "The wedding will be in a few days," Hafid said. "I'm going to take you to our room."
  • "Do I have to sleep with you?" Sylvia asked.
  • "How am I going to convince the children that you are their mother?" Hafid said. "Don't worry, I won't touch you at all. You're not my type."
  • He entered the room they were going to share. A huge bed occupied the center of it. The decoration, apart from being luxurious and exquisite, was something she had never imagined in her wildest dreams.
  • He smiled ironically at Sylvia's astonished face.
  • "Nothing like what you have known so far, isn't it?" Hafid said.
  • "No," Sylvia simply said.
  • "This is your closet. I bought you some clothes. If you don't like them, throw them away, and tomorrow we'll look for something to your liking," Hafid said.
  • Sylvia opened the closet doors and marveled at so much beautiful clothing, it seemed like a clothing store just for her.
  • "Everything is beautiful, thank you!" Sylvia said. "I would like to take a bath."
  • He showed her where the bathroom was and left the room so she could feel comfortable looking for something suitable to wear to sleep.
  • Sylvia thanked Hafid for his gesture and found a suitable pajama. She entered the bathroom, which was as big as the room she had in the boarding house.
  • Afterwards, she quickly got into bed, as close to the edge as possible, although it was so big that she doubted she would touch it if she moved.
  • Hafid entered an hour later, smiled at seeing her asleep on the edge of the bed, shook his head in amusement, took a bath, and then got under the sheets. There he was, sleeping with a stranger, all for the love of his children.
