• Cassian said nothing more. He withdrew his gaze faintly, exhaustion softening the sharpness of his usually dominant Wildthorn Alpha aura. After a pause, he asked in a low, weakened voice, “What news from the Moonvale?”
• Knox replied immediately. “Right. The matter of Damian Ravenwood and Eveline Ashforde being legally bound as mates has now been fully exposed across Moonvale City. It won’t be long before the Bloodfang elders trace Eveline down. Damian hasn’t issued any denial, nor has he stepped out of Lanridge Estate. Word is he’s rejecting all visitors.”
