- The black market was a den of shadows and unspoken rules, patrolled with vigilance. Every visitor was meticulously checked for weapons, talismans, or anything that could disrupt the delicate balance of power within its twisted alleys. Damian and Duke had barely passed the inspection when Duke pointed toward a narrow street.
- “Alpha,” Duke murmured, “they say Dallas’s ashes appeared in a shop at the far end of this street.”
