Chapter 40 Long Distance Lust

• "This is your new phone." I was enjoying my lunch when Theo placed a phone in front of me. I took the phone while looking at him, who was staring at me with his arms folded across his chest–which, if other people saw, they would think he was the one who bought this phone for me.
• "Are you a toddler or what? How can you drop your phone in the toilet and flush it?" he grumbled, which I answered with a shrug, not wanting to prolong the matter since I had secured the phone I had broken.
• "I want to go to the hospital to see Roxane," I said after Theo sat before me and started eating his lunch.
