Chapter 37 Business Trip

• "Hmm..." I mumbled, turning my face away when I felt something rubbing against my cheek, disturbing my sleep. But the disturbance didn't stop, it just got more intense until it forced me to open my eyes.
• "Skye?" I held Skye's chest and made him stop snuggling and rubbing his nose against my face. He pulled his face away as I rubbed my eyes. He stroked my hair with a smile, not looking guilty for waking me up.
• "Why did you wake me?" I asked in a hoarse voice. I looked at the clock on the nightstand, which still showed 5 a.m., then looked back at him. This was the first time he had ever woken me up like this because usually, he would wait until I woke up on my own, and then we would spend time together. "You're home early today."
