• It was a lovely breezy Friday evening.
• As usual, Katherine was bored to death. After having her dinner and speaking to her family over the phone, there was nothing else to do. Her mother's health was improving and this brought joy to her heart. However, she still felt uneasy. Something was eating her up, making her feel restless.
• Placing her phone on the nightstand, she sat still for a while before grabbing a book. Not wanting to look at the ceiling while losing herself in guilt, she decided to read. Perhaps it will help her to get her mind off some things. She slowly lied down on the bed, as she flipped through the pages.
