• Ever since the dangerous drama that had been going on between me and Rose started, I have never visited her in the house. Our meeting places were either at her office, shopping malls, Spas or event centers.
• It was even in her husband's office that she'd introduced me as her friend to my boss. I don't want to ever think about that very day because I looked like a total fool. The introduction was out of the blue and she did all the talking, the glorified lies, while I stood there like a statue smiling awkwardly, and nodding my head when necessary.
