Chapter 3 Beg him

• Giovanni's POV
• When I arrived at Ninoy International Airport I immediately saw the faces of my friends on the other side of the road. I walked closer to them but unexpectedly I was hit by someone.
• “Trix! Please, forgive me. Do not leave me." My eyes almost widened when I saw the man crying while holding the hand of the girl who was still sitting and picking up her belongings. I couldn’t help her because I felt my cold whole body cold. Don't tell me that the Trix he said and the Trix on my mind are the same.
• "I'm sorry, Mister." I breathed a sigh of relief that she wasn’t that when I clearly saw her face.  "Let go of me."
• "Trix, I know I am wrong."
• “I give everything to you. I fulfill my duties as a wife but then you suddenly become cold and even find another woman. What a bastard. ” I saw that the woman went inside and was chased by the man but it was me, still and thinking about what the woman said.
• “Don’t leave me, Gio. What am I missing? I put up with all the way you treated me. Am I that hard to love? ” I kept looking into her eyes but I averted my gaze to see the tears forming here. It can't be, the woman I love is waiting for me. I wondered to myself, why I was hurting as I saw her crying.
• "I don't love you and no matter how hard you try, I can't love you. Sign the divorce paper now." 
• “Van! Yohoo. ” I went back to reality when I saw Levi’s hand waving in front of me.
• "What?" I asked annoyed but he just smiled at me.
• “Why are you stunned by that? Are you thinking about your wife? ” Joe 's inquisitive remarks. I was shocked when he said that before I annoyingly responded.
• “Ex-wife, bro. I will never forget that she was the reason why my dream was ruined. ” They looked at each other and became silent.
• “He is different now, bro. You might be surprised. ” I looked at Kai intently but he averted his gaze. My forehead furrowed but I also smirked because of what he said.
• “Tch, isn't she acting like a child anymore? I don't care what she is now. ”
• “A lot has changed since you left her. Let's go." Levi tapped me on the shoulder before walking first so I followed them. We got in Levi's car, I just kept quiet because I was still tired from the trip while the three continued to talk until I heard their conversation.
• "Jane said Bea was on vacation for a week." I was able to sit up when I heard that name. I promised myself that I would no longer be involved with the Sanchez family that messed up my life.
• "Fuck, why only a week," I heard Kai promise before turning around so I quickly closed my eyes. I don't know but there's something inside me that wants to hear what they're talking about based on Kai's tone of obvious anger.
• “What is surprising is why she was given a vacation. Aren't you confused? For as long as I can remember, this is the first time Bea has been given that. ”
• "Shit, we can't do anything. That's what sweetheart thinks." I am curious about their topic.
• “What did Zach say? Does he agree with Bea? ” My forehead furrowed because of what Joe had said. Why did Zach join their conversation? What Trix and Zach have to do with each other.
• “No. You know he can't do that and only one can do it then. ” I don’t know why they were suddenly so silent. I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep on the flight because I was probably too tired.
• When I woke up I saw Levi's house. I didn't  know we were going straight here because Levi told me to prepare for my return but they said it would be at Kai’s house but I didn’t expect it would happen here.
• "It's my birthday, bro." I looked at Levi in ​​shock when he said that. "Shit, you really haven't forgotten." I just shook my head before walking with him towards the door. I immediately opened it and exchanged confetti. I heard the voices of our college friends and batch mates.
• "Welcome back, Van!"
• I am very thankful that that woman is not here because I know that when she is here she will tickle me again like she did to me before. It was always on my tail and had nothing to do but to harm me.
• We drank and talked until the conversation with Anika ended with the mixture on my face. That woman, a fucking cheater.
• In the middle of rejoicing for Levi's birthday as well. Even though I was tired I hung out with our friends in college. There aren't that many here like before.
• “Gosh, it's good that you arrived. Come in. ” I continuously looked at the door when I saw Jane welcoming someone.
• "We really plan not to attend because you might squeeze my cheek again, pregnant lady," said a woman I don't know. I am sure that this is my first time seeing her. Maybe Jane's new friend.
• “Where is Gia?”
• Because the living room is close to the door of their house we can clearly see the woman. Jane's longtime friend doesn't seem to be coming. Instead of focusing on them, I poured the wine again and was ready to drink it when I was stopped by what the woman said.
• "She is already asleep so we didn't take her anymore…" the girl paused, "Bea, hurry up." I know the suspicion is correct, she's the woman I don't want to see now. was caught in my chest as my heart pounded . I slowly looked out the door and was even more surprised to see her there wearing a white dress– stunningly beautiful while Zach was riding in a wheelchair.
• Wheelchair? Why is he in a wheelchair, what is he sick of.
• Beatrix and I caught sight of each other correctly but she averted her gaze first but the shock was obvious on her face. Just now that thing happened, she used to look at my face for a long time especially my eyes but now it’s different. She was the first to look away.
• "Bea..Zach." Kai approached them and hugged the two. "Why did you bring a pet?" He was referring  to the woman who spoke first.
• “Pet? Pet your face! ” Annoyed cry by the woman.
• "Here we are in the living room." Jane was with them. I saw how Beatrix pushed Zach’s wheelchair. They sat on the long sofa while Zach remained in the wheelchair and this time Zach and I both looked right and I was surprised when he smiled at me and nodded at me.
• "Levi, Zach and I bought this for you." Trix handed something wrapped to Levi. "I'm sorry if that's all we can handle." I glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. I don’t believe that’s all she can do. Even though her parents don't love her, they give her money. She is a brat and they pampered her with a lot of materialistic things.
• "Happy Birthday, bro."
• "Stupid, you still remember." Zach just nodded. "I hope you two didn’t bother anymore but thank you."
• Jane interjected, "gosh, you still refused but you received the gift too." Levi hugged Jane before kissing her on the forehead. 
• "Of course, sweetheart. It’s a blessing."
• "Thanks bro. Thank you, Bea. ” Trix replied with a smile. My forehead furrowed at the sight of that smile. It's not as fun as it used to be, I don't know but I can see it's full of sadness. I suddenly felt pain in my heart for reasons I don’t know.
• “Guys, you can eat. There is food there. ” Levi offers them.
• "'ll just get you, Zach." I saw that Beatrix had turned around and I was about to follow her when Zach suddenly spoke so I just went back to my seat.
• “Don't, I'll just come. Don't push me anymore, Trix. Let’s go. ” I clenched my fist as he called the familiar name I called Beatrix before.
• “Yiee, you two stayed together. I thought Van and Beatrix would be together. Weren't the two of you married? ” I saw that Joe was choked by food, so I stared at him as he turned his gaze to me. Shiela, one of my classmates, looked back and forth.
• “Yeah, I thought that too. You were still thrilled then. I remember Beatrix always bringing food to Van in our room back then. There is a cheering lady 2.0 every time there is basketball. '' There was a bit of silence between us and no one answered Sheila and Zenaida's question. I looked at Trix but it remained silent. I still remember those days but that time, I felt annoyed by her presence but I still controlled myself for the sake of Anika but right now, remembering those days, a smile forms into my lips secretly but immediately fades because of the words she said and the words that the girl said.
• "S-Sorry, I don't remember."  
• “Miss, wait. Who are you talking about? I don't think I knew that. All I know is that Zach was the man next to Bea at the time she was in trouble. I don't think she should look for another man because Zach is enough. Zach protected her from danger so he broke his leg and there is a possibility that he will not be able to walk because he loves Bea so much. Isn't it, Bea?'
• "Hmm." Trix hummed in agreement. I clench my fist secretly, I don't know if that woman meant all her words and glared at me secretly.
• “Yeah by the way, dude. What happened to your foot? ” Cyril asked as he hugged his sweetheart. I was even wondering how Zach’s leg was broken.
• “It’s nothing,”
• “Nothing on your face. This is really Zach, still humble. ” I don’t know if I’ll be grateful or not to talk to the woman who looks like their friend Jane. "This is what happened why the—" He couldn't finish what Kai was going to say when he put food in his mouth. It didn’t escape the scrutiny of its eyes that seemed to indicate something to the woman. Maybe I should know something about what's going on.
• I looked again at Trix's stand but saw that it was no longer there so I stood up to follow them. I need to see her because she still has a wedding with me that she has to pay for and I have a lot of questions and I know that she's the only one who can answer all my stupid questions.
• When I got to where the food was I didn’t see Trix but I saw Zach who seemed to be waiting for me. I looked at him from head to toe as my hands remained in my pocket.
• "Where is she?"
• "In the restroom." I was about to leave when he suddenly spoke which I stopped. I faced him again. "If I were you, I would investigate what happened to her before you talk to her."
• “And why would I listen to you?”
• She sighed, "Van, I am not your enemy here and I know you already knew what happened after you chased her." I knew he was referring to Anika. "Why are you still having resentment towards me?" I speak because what he said was right. Why?
• “Tch, what happened to you? I already defeated you, huh. ” I immediately changed the topic but he just smiled and shook his head. 
• “I am not even competing with you because I still treat you as a brother even if you are not. What happened to me? Well, it happened after you left her. ” He looked me in the eye before approaching me in a wheelchair. “You’re the only one who can save her. I'm begging you, bro. ”
• "What do you mean?" I asked with a frown but before he could answer I saw Trix coming down the stairs. When she finally got down, our eyes met but she immediately avoided before approaching Zach. I saw that someone whispered it to Zach frowning at me until Zach spoke. That's when I found out what Trix wanted.
• “It’s great to have a talk with you.We’ll go now, Mr. Castillo.” Zach said and he looked at me with a pleading eyes before Trix turned his wheelchair around. I tried to hold Trix’s arm but I couldn’t reach it because she was already walking and I didn’t have the strength to reach her hand.
