• The meeting with the werewolf council and leaders of Midnight pack was dragging on for too long, just like every other meeting with them. Whenever it involved the council, I knew it’d take long boring hours so I came prepared to sit through it. Half the time, my mind only had thoughts of my mate. My sweet Aria.
• After announcing her as my mate, and mother of their future Alpha, I knew the council would want to call a meeting, and the issue of Midnight pack wanting to merge with us was also something that needed to be settled. I didn’t know the alpha of Midnight pack personally, and I’d never considered invading their pack during my years of invasion. The only time I’d visited the pack was when I’d been in search of my mate, and I’d just spent a few hours there.
