• I stared at the pile of work on my desk, unable to wrap my head around anything. Just like I thought, I didn’t get any sleep all through the night, and it is beginning to tell on me. When I close my eyes, Its her face I see. It wasn’t helping matters that her scent was gradually fading from my room. I had to sniff her dress for the large part of last night to get my shit together, but it wasn’t enough to make me fall asleep.
• I needed her in my bed, Asher needed her. I didn’t realise how fond of her he’d become until the last two nights when I had to sleep without her. I missed her scent, and I can’t deny it much longer.
