• The Alpha’s call. I heard it, like every other member of the pack, but unlike them, I didn’t feel the need to obey instantly, because I’m not a member of their pack. Gwyn dropped what she was doing immediately, almost like she was in a trance, and starts to move towards the sound, as did other members of the pack.
• Marcel had informed me before hand that the alpha had an important announcement to make and I was to join him on stage. So I wasn’t surprised to find him waiting at the door to take me to Alpha Slade.
