- Ash pulled me to the bed and sat me down. He took our daughter from Joe and brought her to me. I stared at her, then at Ash scared out of my mind.
- “Lee, take her.” Ash brought her closer.
- I moved back. “Are you sure, because I don’t know how to hold a baby? I don’t know the first thing to do with a baby.”
