Chapter 48 The Escape Part 5

• "Go to hell you sick fucks!" I scream back as I approach the car. Eve slides into the passenger seat and one look at her injured shoulder quells all my protests as I practically rip open the driver's side door and jump into the sports car, slamming the door behind me right as I hear the sound of another stray gunshot. Eve shoves the key into the ignition and twists as I hold down the brake. I grip the steering wheel with shaky hands and the engine revs to life with an exciting purr. I look to Eve, she was supposed to drive because I have no idea where I'm going.
• "Drive! Go!" She yells and I quickly jam it into reverse. I put the gas pedal to the floor and crank the wheel. The car skids and shrieks against the concrete floor, skidding into another car before I can steady it. I drive straight towards the exit.
