• Baxter happily snores while I watch reruns of an American sitcom about office hyjinks for the unpteenth time. I find that watching the characters go through everyday life helps me adjust with mine. The woman on television complaining about being pregnant in the office building helps me cope. I find myself giggling at the television. It helps me take my mind off things.
• A knock on the door sounds through the room and I pause the show to get up and answer it.
