• "Boys, can you not fight?" Mom spoke in a tired tone. She sighed and cast a weary, dejected glance at us. She didn't want to pick sides because it would worsen the situation.
• "I refuse to accept any insults from Lenny. I'm in love with Miracle, and we are devoted to one another. She lives with me, and the rule says the seat of the president should be given to the first person in a meaningful relationship, married or not. Marriage is a big deal to me and I can't rush into it to impress anyone.”
