• Prince Virgil's voice continuously echoes in the distance and my fear increases with each dangerous step that he takes closer to my hiding place.
• What should I do? If he catches me and Kayden like this then he'll definitely know that something is up. No lie will be able to cover this up, he'll see right through me and probably torture us until we speak the truth. The thought of this pumps more adrenaline into my blood and an amazing idea quickly forms in my mind.
• "Kayden." I call in a whisper and he turns to me. "I know how we can get out of this unscathed but it involves violence." I tell him and I instantly see him hesitate. He's just so sweet. "What do you mean violence? Who's going to get hurt? If it's you then forget about it. I would have fought these Vampires off easily but then again, I've got no wolf and I'm currently injured so there's no escape from this." He said and I knew he was ready for anything but things didn't have to end this way, I wouldn't let it happen.
