• "What do we do? Poor Evelyn has no one from her family here and her mate is even out of the question. He was so evil to her and even if we could actually contact him, what's the guarantee that he'll be willing to help?" Ana blurted tiredly.
• "You're wrong." I said and everyone's eyes were on me once more. "Evelyn doesn't need that bastard anywhere near her, haven't you seen how afraid she is of him? And she's not alone, she never has been and she never will be. She has all of us and she has me. I've always felt that we have a special bond right from the first day I met her. I don't know why we turned out to have different mates but I'm certainly sure that we're made for each other. So I'm going to give my blood to Evelyn."
