Chapter 59 New Misunderstanding

  • His tissue injuries had finally healed, enabling him to stand up, albeit with a staggering gait, as though his legs had been out of use for an eternity. His movements were shaky, but after standing for a few moments and shaking his legs slightly, Maverick eventually regained his stability.

This heightened sensitivity extended to even the lightest touch, faintest sound, or slightest scent, making his control over his body exceptional. Yet this also meant the pain he felt was exponentially greater—threefold that of an ordinary human.
