• The rain was pouring heavily outside the mansion, Ivy sat by the window, her eyes following the droplets of water as they trailed down the glass like tears. Her mind was full of thoughts, but one image refused to leave her…. the terrified face of the girl from the auction.
• "Safety?" Ivy mumbled bitterly, her breath fogging the glass. "He calls that safety?"
