• I was on the couch, pondering. I'm done crying but my eyes are still fluffy as I think about my conversation with Hugh’s mother.
• It’s snowing outside and I’m just watching the snow fall like a raindrops. I’m in front of the fireplace. It’s almost night, and Hugh is not yet back. I've been waiting for him since then.
• He told me this morning that we’ll eat our dinner outside but I think I can’t go with all these thoughts inside my head. I just want to throw myself into him and cry in his arms. I’m wearing one of his pullovers and a boy leg of mine.
