• the next few days I had only Alexander for company , both to talk and to eat with me. I realized how tired he was, unable to get out of there for anything. I offered him my bathroom and he ended up in the meantime accepting at least one shower, which we managed to get done quickly enough that no one would notice. It felt like we had gone back to the time when we were kids and we really cared about each other. Maybe this was due to the fact that I was trapped and he knew that no one would touch me, so he felt safe and didn't need to punish me in any way, after all, I was already being punished.
