• Damien’s POV
• My mate looked a lot better today despite her good health I didn’t like how her eyes were swollen and her cheeks were puffy. The thought of my mate crying enraged my wolf. This was our mate and anyone who made her cry was public enemy number one. She wouldn’t admit to what made her cry and tried to cover it up by smiling at me.
• “Damien?” she tilted her head to the side. “What did you want to say?” she asked.
