• For a long time, I was too shocked by the revelations to speak, and my father—no, the Alpha of the Silver Moons—could only stare at me in stunned silence. I double-checked the DNA results to ensure they weren’t a hoax. Despite how difficult it was for me to accept, both the test results and the information I had received clearly indicated that I did not share any DNA with this man. Yet, he remains the father I have always known.
• I didn’t want to cry because it would show how broken I was. Though, I felt like a bomb just waiting to explode. Dad knelt by the side of the bed picked up my hand and looked into my eyes. I saw sadness and desperation on his face.
