Chapter 3 Three
- When she newly gave birth five years ago, she had thought about if it was a good idea to find that strange man and let him know about the kids. But she wasn't sure if he will receive the kids with open arms, after all, it was just one night stand between them.
- Now that she eventually found out he's the CEO of the largest Cooperation in the city and... A Mafia don, she is beginning to reconsider telling him about the kids. She had heard tales of how billionaire men, expecially the dangerous ones like him, forcefully take their children away from their baby mama.
- There's no way she's letting her kids gets close to someone who obviously engage in all sort of illegal activities. She understood that in the mafia world, killimhs and drugs are a norm to them.
- If his he could casually kill his two previous PA, how could she possibly let her kids get close to such a man? She can't put her kids in danger in the name of trying to o get them to know their daddy.
- At the end, the mother and her sextuplets arrived home. After leading the six kids inside, she went depressingly to the kitchen. While cooking what her children will eat for the evening, her two girls walked in.
- "Mommy..." Zelda, one of the girls called.
- Octavia quickly cleaned the tears spilling repeatedly out of her face before turning to her two cute little girls, "hey... What are you girls doing here?"
- "Mommy, are you crying?" Zara, the second girl asked.
- Octavia smiled boringly. "Not at all. I'm fine. I've just been washing the dishes."
- Zara and Zelda exchanged glances then Zara said to Octavia, "I did not mean to snitch but we heard Thor telling Titus, Theodore and Thane that he would meet up with a man he says he's our daddy on Monday."
- "In case you want to stop him." Zelda added.
- What! Where do they get to know any man? They have just barely settled here in New York. "Thank you dear. I'll definitely stop him from doing that." Octavia pecked her two little girls and ruffled their hair then went back to the dishes. Then her mind trailed to the wedding ceremony of her ex husband that she must attend the following day.
- The fact that she will have to see that cheater eyeball to eyeball again... gross!
- The following day came by quickly, Octavia stepped down from the company's car that brought her to this high end hotel where Cullan's wedding is being held. She could see all sorts of super exorbitant cars parked in the garage of the hotel. From the entrance of the hotel, one could tell that a gigantic wedding was being held.
- Cullan was just average when it comes to wealth as at the time they were dating, it seems he had being able to work his way up the ladder of power.
- Octavia then walked towards the hall the wedding is being held with her head held up high. As soon as she walked in, she noticed that almost everyone were dressed in a particular way. It was as though there was a dress code that everyone was supposed to follow. That made her feel somewhat awkward and out of place.
- Why didn't Lachlan Williams tell her there is a dress code?
- She soon found a seat for herself. She knew that sooner or later, she will be recognized as Lachlan William's proxy and invited to the special guests seat. Lachlan Williams excells the most in the business world, there was no way his presence will be overlooked.
- While trying to adapt to the environment, she heard a bit of an applause and cheers and then she looked towards where everywhere was staring at. Shock was palpable on her look.
- She knew Cullan was getting married, yes but what she didn't know know was that he was getting married to the woman he cheated on her with six years ago.
- She swallowed, feeling slightly uncomfortable. There were a few people escorting them as they walked in, she tried to take her face away from them but she soon felt someone staring intensively at her.
- She finally turned and then saw that it was Salome that was staring at her. She watched as she whispered to Cullan's ear. Cullan paused in his track, so was the entourage that was walking with them. When people saw Cullan staring at a particular direction, since he was the figure of attention for the day, everyone also followed suite.
- With all these many eyes on her, Octavia still tried to maintain a calm demeanor.
- Cullan walked towards her while Salome followed suite. "Where have you been, Octavia?" Cullan's voice was soft and sweet and that made Salome bite her lips in rage. Her fingers were clenched so hard and she felt like hitting Octavia in the face.
- Did Cullan still have feelings for her? Salome wondered. It's been six years that this bitch had dissapeared, why did she suddenly appear again non their wedding day?
- "Babe, let's ignore her, there are too many eyes on us." Salome said to Cullan. If people see her husband to be, acting all affectionate towards another woman, it's a thing of shame for her. People will make up all sorts of rumors and conclude that their love wasn't real. Salome thought.
- To evade this awkward situation, Octavia stood, "Hi, Mr. Cullan, I'm here on behalf of Mr. Lachlan Williams, we are so sorry he couldn't make it but rest assured this wedding is a top priority to him." She said with a professional smile.
- Cullan squinted his eyes. The idea of his wedding with Salome suddenly became disgusting to him. Octavia is the woman he had always loved. Although he got angry that she had sex with someone else after she caught him in the same room with Salome.
- But the truth was, he hadn't even had sex with Salome as at the time Octavia caught them in the same room.
- And how in the world did Octavia became a representative of his Lachlan Williams. He had once served under Lachlan Williams for years and eventhough he does not have direct access to him, he had been honored twice as the most hardworking staff in the company.
- Cullan nodded repeatedly, while staring at her pretty face. He mumbled, "I've missed you!"
- Then he turned to the crowd, "This wedding is cancelled!"
