• "Sending me out of my home city, huh?" Octavia snickered. "You can't tell me what to do. You lost that right a long time ago."
• "Cullan and Salome are two grown adults, they can decide what's best for them. What makes you think I have any power to influence their relationship?" Octavia continued.
• "If Cullan could easily cancel a wedding that had cost a lot to make happen, that only speaks one thing, that the whole marriage between them is just a facade, a fallacy, it's not real." She added. "Perhaps, your daughter is forcing himself on Cullan."
