• I couldn’t stop thinking about Jack from yesterday when he dropped me I have been going crazy. If this is love then I think I’m in cloud nine. I don’t even know who tell my news, my sisters will be jealousy of me and run and tell my mum or my brothers and they will kill Jack for sure. I have been waiting for Richie to appear since yesterday he has not appeared and tomorrow I have to go and do my project despite everything I still need to do my project with Jack.
• “ Hey Sis you have been standing there for almost 10 minutes and you didn’t even hear me come in, I hope you are not day dreaming about Jack” I jumped at Richie’s voice I loved my cousin so much. Even I know Richie loves me even too much, he protects me more than my own brothers.
• “ Hey Bro are you cool” I wanted to test if he was calm because yesterday he wanted to kill Jack and he was very angry with me.
• “ You know I can’t stay mad at you for long but I needed to see you after I have cleared my head can we talk. Where is my Auntie”
• “ Mama has been preparing for visitors since morning even uncle is here I have no idea what is going on” Richie’s father came early morning and they have been talking since then even Cole, Alex and Fed are in there.” We all have been asking ourselves what is going on. No one tells the women in this house what is going on except if it concerns us.
• “ Ummmh thus sounds serious but which means I’m not needed thus why they didn’t inform me, come let’s go and talk in the shade.” We went to sit in the boys shade a bit far end of the yard.
• “ Sis I don’t want to lie to you but I was disappointed about what happened yesterday. But tell me did Jack force you to do anything, I haven’t seen him since yesterday I didn’t want to talk to him before you” I was really embarrassed but this is Richie I can talk to him.
• “ I’m sorry brother really really sorry that was stupid of me, I allowed Jack to kiss me and I lead him on I could have stopped things but I was too overwhelmed with my own emotions “ I had to tell him the truth otherwise he will kill Jack.
• “ I love Jack Bro like really love him” I said looking at him in the face.
• “ But sweetheart you are only turning 17 what do you know about love what if it’s only a crush you have on him and then it fades away” my cousin was concerned.
• “ I don’t know anything about love brother but Jack is the only man I have ever loved. Since I was a child I always felt safe with him and always happy. Even when I left school I will be thinking of going to see him first just to tell him how did school go. You know that too. As I started to grow so did my feelings for him. I didn’t know he felt the same way until yesterday” I told my cousin everything and he was looking at me like I’m dying or something.
• “ I just don’t want you to get hurt I wouldn’t leave with myself. I will talk to Jack and get to know his plans if he loves you too he must do right by you. He is my friend and I have faith in him. I will talk to him.” I’m always emotional my eyes were already filled with tears.
• “ He said he wants to marry me and do things right I’m sure he is waiting for you to calm down after yesterday, he doesn’t want to get punched again “ I smiled with tears in my eyes.
• “ Hey come here, your tears always break my heart and you are an emotional wreck stop it this very moment, everything will be fine okay” my cousin gave me a hug and I wiped my tears. What would be life be like without my family. I loved them so much.
• “ why are you two hugging like someone died” Brother Alex was walking over to us. Richie pated my cheeks with a smile.
• “ Clean your tears or you will have to tell Alex why you are crying and I know you don’t want him to go and finish what I started yesterday mmmmmh” and he stood up to give his cousin a bear hug. Gosh this family was so unreal, they just had too much love.
• “ Sweetheart go take a bath and clean yourself our visitors are on the way, Also tell the other girls to do the same “ my brother told me. I smiled at him as I stood up.
• “ Yes brother we will get going and be ready before they arrive. “ I stood up when Richie asked the question I have been asking myself since morning and I stopped.
• “ What’s going on , who are the visitors and why are the girls getting ready for the visitors” I was also waiting for an answer to that one.
• “ Chase Denvor returned from school and his father want him to take over his business but he insists that he takes a wife before then” my brother explained.
• “ So what does that have to do with us” asked Richie with confusion in his eyes.
• “ Chase’s father believes the good wife for his son is in this house so they are bringing the marriage proposal but they haven’t told us which one of the girls is worthy being Chase’s wife.” I breath out relaxing we all knew Chase always liked Stella though he was afraid to tell her. Thus good news at least my sister will marry into a good family. Though I never liked Chase he was too spoilt.
• “ Well thus wonderful I also need to talk to you about something, Aviva you can go sweetheart “ Richie dismissed me and I left to get ready with my sisters.
• Just few minutes after we were done a big car pulled at the gate Cole went out to open the gate for them. We all stood by the window waiting to see Chase after 4 years. The guy was too Cute to be a man they moved with his father and uncle greeting Cole and Cole took them in.
• Twenty minutes later Richie came to call us but his face was pale he was sad.
• “ Hey my cousins looks pretty today come on all three of you go to the sitting room and sit next to mama Maria. “ we all left and he remained standing looking after us, why was he so sad I looked back at him and he looked down. I was worried we get inside the house and sit down next to mama.
• “ Mr Denvor these are my daughters show us the one you say you are asking for her hand in marriage” our uncle spoke and we kept our heads down and I could feel Chase’s eyes on Stella.
• “ The one in the centre with a blue dress” we all raised our heads then. I looked at Chase is he mad or what. We all know he liked Stella what is he doing choosing me, I can’t be his wife I love someone else. My eyes were filled with tears then I looked at Richie and he shook his head that I must not say anything. I looked at my brothers they just nodded, I looked down and my mind went blank. What am I going to do I can’t marry Chase. He doesn’t love me even now he was looking at Stella.
• “ Very well Mr Denvor we will discuss as a family and we will send you a reply in few days time “ my uncle said. And everyone left but us the girls. Stella looked at me as if she wanted to kill me. And tears were running down my cheeks and I shook my head at her and she was taken aback with my tears. They might be Jelous of me but I was their little sister and they loved me.

• “ I can’t marry him, I can’t” I cried.
• “ hey I’m sure no one will force you now clean yourself up and let’s go and see mama” Stella said she was always straight to the point.
• We left the house to follow our mother.
