Chapter 69 Impulse

  • The award for new talent the director had proudly presented to him. The students were still clapping and shouting, chanting his name even though he was no longer on the stage. He was still on campus, heading to his locker now. He could feel the frowning and maybe even disappointing look of his friends behind him, as he walked away. But he did not look back, he continued until he did not feel the disapproving looks behind him and was already in front of his locker.
  • The halls were empty, there was only him. The rest on campus between the music and the atmosphere. He opened his locker and put away the small trophy, while he was at it, he heard some repetitive applause but when he gave the next one he was going with some slowness. He closed his locker door and saw whose applause it was, Melia. This one, she was approaching in passed slowly and still between her applause until, she stopped clapping and let her arms fall to her sides.
  • " You turned out worse than usual, oh Elijah Orleans. " Melia said letting out a laugh." Believe me, if he knew you, he would praise you for being so dramatic and exaggerated."She laughed mockingly again." Seriously, I'm proud of you.
