Chapter 5 I Heard Everything
- Hearing this, the people by the sink turned around.
- Seeing Molly, Grace was stunned for a long time before she tried to maintain the smile. "Molly, why are you here? You didn't hear what we just said, right?"
- Molly looked up at her and slowly walked to the poo, saying calmly, "I heard everything."
- Grace did not expect her to admit it so calmly. Her expression instantly turned extremely awkward.
- Her best friends also realized that something was wrong and were about to stand up for Grace.
- Molly turned on the tap, not giving them a chance to speak. "One who calculates the love of others will not gain love in return."
- Grace was rendered speechless.
- After her indignant eyes swept across the mole at the corner of Molly's eye, she suddenly felt relieved and stopped pretending.
- With a sneer, she went on, "Just a substitute. She hasn't even gotten Robt's love. What right does she have to talk about love in front of me?"
- "That's right. I wonder who was abandoned in this godforsaken place."
- "This girlfriend is really pitiful!"
- After the three of them mocked her, they left hand in hand.
- Molly did not continue to chase after her. Robt was toying with her sincerity, and Grace was toying with his sincerity. Perhaps it was karma.
- She walked to the door and was about to take a taxi when she suddenly remembered that she was in the mountain area. Sure enough, several apps showed that there were no cars nearby.
- It was unknown if Grace had deliberately agreed with Robt's brothers, but more than ten cars passed by her in unison, and no one offered to give her a ride.
- As Grace got into the last car to leave and still took the time to roll down the window and give her a smug look, Molly realized the intent behind her revenge.
- She smiled and turned to hike down the hill.
- The evening breeze blew her skirt. The surroundings were extremely quiet, and only the unceasing chirping of cicadas accompanied her.
- She emptied her mind. Many memories flashed through her mind. Each scene was like a movie, making her feel unreal.
- Love, substitute, Grace's return, birthday...
- She was suddenly curious. If Robt knew that the eight years he tortured himself for his first love were actually just a trick of Grace to play hard to get, how would he feel?
- When she got home, it was already eight o'clock in the evening.
- Molly took off her shoes and looked at the blood blisters on her feet. She sucked in a breath of cold air and took out the first aid kit.
- Finishing treating her wound, she was exhausted and went to bed after washing up.
- When she woke up the next day, everything in the room was no different from yesterday.
- Molly was not curious about where Robt went. She got up and changed the dressing on her wound.
- Just as she was done bandaging, Cruz called.
- "Molly, did you sleep very early yesterday? Why didn't you reply? Let me tell you, your fiancé prepared a lot of birthday surprises for you. Not only did he ask me to transfer a sum of money over, but he also bought a bunch of jewelry and sent it home. You can wear them as soon as you come back. How is it? The marriage partner I showed you is not bad, right?"
- Molly turned on the speaker and opened the notification column. Sure enough, he saw a transfer of 50 million dollars.
- She was about to reply when Robt, who had not returned for the entire night, suddenly returned.
- "Partner? What partner?" he asked.
- Hearing this familiar voice, Cruz instantly became excited.
- "Molly, who was talking just now, Robt? Why is he with you at this time?"
- Molly's heart skipped a beat. She casually found an excuse to hang up.
- Seeing how nervous she was, Robt smiled again and pretended to be angry. "Why did you hang up? Aren't you going to let me talk to my good brother? Am I, your boyfriend, so unpresentable?"
- Molly did not want to take up his joke and calmly asked back, "Haven't you always refused to let him know about our relationship?"
