• I stood in my hotel room, packing my things into my suitcase. The team retreat was over, and I felt a mix of relief and sadness. I was sad that I had to leave the one place that made me go to the other world multiple times and relieved that I wouldn’t be seeing my coworkers' faces till Monday.
• I zipped up my bag and sat on the bed for a moment. My mind kept drifting to Rex and the Trueblood pack. It felt so real, like a dream that I couldn't shake off.
